I still get asked this question to this very day. For the last eight years of going to school on and off and seeking my passion, I’ve been exposed to many interesting things I could’ve pursued, but I found one that always had my interest since I was young then escalated as I got older—health and fitness (sports).

I’ve been told that being a model wouldn’t make enough money and some wouldn’t take me serious because I didn’t look “fit” enough to appeal anyone. There’s a lot of doubt that I get, not only from people but myself as well.

Our passions draws us towards people who have the same passion/interest. There are those who have minor interests and do it just fundamentally then there are those who have the same drive as you do and want to take it to the next level (unfortunately, I haven’t personally met someone with that drive minus my good friend who lives about 40 minutes away).

Yeah I have long ways to go, look at me, but I’m a lot closer than I was a year ago. I seek God through this every time to assure that I’m going along with His plans because I want to honor Him and seek delight in Him first. I see that He has definitely honored that by putting this in my heart. (Prov 37:4)

As I’m reading 1 Peter, I came across this interesting passage,"putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander"

Instinctively, I thought about how I should rebuke myself from acting this way towards others, but then I stopped and reread this part again and asked myself, how  often do I do this to myself?

I’m always caught beating myself up at my darkest moments. Perhaps not always at my darkest moments, sometimes just casually. I use that as my excuse for fuel to push me harder, but realistically, it’s so unhealthy. How do we expect to grow if we keep allowing doubt and malice upon ourselves?

I need to start believing in myself more than I actually do. Am I willing to make sacrifices to successfully get myself to be where I want to be?

I love what I do, so why am I making it more difficult than it already is?

I’m proud to say, I’m happy where I’m supposed to be, cause that’s where God originally wanted me.

God you are awesome, help me to grow more in you so I can lead others to you.

Sometimes I feel like just filming, but since I only have my laptop and my phone to record, I’m a little limited with my resources. However that shouldn’t stop me.
Anyhow, so much has happened since the beginning of the year. It’s usually a busy start when the new year comes. I keep making adjustments to this site because I want to make it user friendly for people to navigate through the site. I’ve decided to start my bachelor’s program earlier, so I’m really excited about that.

Lately I’ve had some issues with my anxiety and I’m trying my best to get to the bottom of this. However, I had an inspiring conversation today with a friend and let’s hope I stick with what I’ve realized. I may decide to openly talk about it, but for now — let’s test the water out. Hopefully by faith, I will pull through.

So April I’ve trained pretty hard with weights. I probably gained some muscle mass, but that’s a great sign! The last month, I worked on endurance. Diet didn’t change, however I think I’m going to cut mine down just a tad bit, still keeping my servings of carbs no more than 100 grams a day, with protein being more than 100 grams and fat will just be closely to the same servings as carbs.

Here is some delicious Protein Coco-nutty Flaxseed French Toasts that I made, last minute!

First you’ll need:

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup
  • 4 slices of ezekiel bread
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes (more or less to taste)
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • Coconut Oil
  1. Mix everything all together except the coconut oil and coconut flakes.
  2. Once everything is ready, coat your pan with the coconut oil.
  3. Dip a slice of ezekiel bread into your batter, making sure you get a good amount of coating on both sides.
  4. Start grilling!
  5. Once done, sprinkle your coconut flakes and voila!

EAT IT! :)
